This 2-day Management 3.0 Foundations Workshop is an exciting hands-on experiential workshop for anyone looking to improve and/or advance their leadership. E.g. Managers (C-Suite, Directors and Middle Mgt), HR staff, team-leaders, creative workers and independent coaches, consultants, entrepreneurs or even artists.

Topics (Modules) Covered:
Complexity Thinking, which will lay the foundation for the following Management 3.0 themes. It explains why traditional linear thinking is not appropriate in today’s world and why you should become aware of the complex adaptive systems surrounding you and the cognitive tricks your own mind plays on you.
Energize People, which explores the difference between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, introduces you to the ten universal intrinsic desires and teaches you common techniques to explore what is important to whom and how to utilize this knowledge to your competitive advantage.
Empower Teams, which illustrates stories on self-organization and how managers can create the conditions for successful, self-organized teams. You will learn how to create empowerment and autonomy, distribute effective authorisation and decision-making in your organization and grow relationships based on trust. And to put all this in to practise, we’ll play a poker game!
Align Constraints, which revolves around setting goals and a sense of purpose that channels self-organization in your desired direction. You will learn when to manage and when to lead, the criteria to set inspiring goals, and the challenges of management by objectives.
Develop Competence, which explains how and when to apply the seven approaches of competence development in order to grow high performing teams. Measuring competence in complex adaptive environments as well as recruitment best practices are discussed.
Grow Structure,which illustrates how organizational structures can be either catalysts or barriers to growth. This session helps you to develop the best organizational structure to facilitate communication and to find the best mix of teams between specialization and generalization.
Change Management,which gives valuable suggestions on how you can drive continuous improvement of your organization as a change agent. Four facets of change management are illustrated and practiced to help you become agile change agents in a complex environment.
All the topics covered include at least one game or exercise in which you put into practice the ideas of the course in groups of four to six people. The goal is to make sure you can apply the topics you learn about next day in your own organization.

Other than yourself, an open mindset and some basic note-taking materials, it isn’t necessary to bring anything to the workshop. All materials used throughout the workshop (e.g. slides and handouts) will be made available to you digitally afterwards.
Essential chemical ingredients: e.g. proteins, carbs, caffeine, theine, glucose, … will also be provided in the form of lunch and coffee/tea breaks.
Attending this workshop will allow you to apply for certification as a Management 3.0 facilitator and organize your own workshops.
